An Evening with Rick and Janis Carnes (Nashville)

The Songwriters Guild will sponsor a fabulous showcase at the famed Bluebird Café, 4104 Hillsboro Pike, on Wednesday, September 16 at 9 p.m. This special event will be "An Evening with Rick and Janis Carnes."

To reserve your seat, please go to www.bluebirdcafe.com. There is a minimum $7 drink/meal fee for the early show and $1.50 reservation fee (per person) if you make a reservation. First come-first-served seating is available at the bar and on the back benches.

Rick and Janis Carnes
In 1983, Rick wrote Reba McEntire’s first number one hit "I Can’t Even Get the Blues No More" and co-wrote with Janis and Chip Hardy on three top ten hits for the Whites; "You Put the Blue In Me," "Hangin’ Around" and "Pins And Needles." He co-wrote the Garth Brooks hit "Long Neck Bottle" with Steve Wariner and also had success with album cuts on such artists as Dean Martin, Alabama, Conway Twitty, Karen Brooks, Loretta Lynn, Lacy J. Dalton, Johnny Rodriguez, Janie Fricke, Ronnie McDowell, T.G. Sheppard, Pam Tillis and many others including three more Reba McEntire cuts. Janis also has had numerous album cuts by Reba McEntire, Eddy Raven, Lacy J. Dalton, the Kendalls, Karen Brooks, J.C. Jones, Steve Wariner and others.
