New York songwriter Annie Dinerman was honored June 12, as the SGA's choice for this year's Abe Olman award. The award and its attending scholarship honor excellence in songwriting.

Dinerman was honored during the Songwriters Hall of Fame Dinner at the Cutting Room in NYC. There, she received her award from SGA East Coast Manager, Mark Saxon.

Dinerman was one of five recipients of the award - with four other songwriters named by other music groups including ASCAP, BMI, SESAC and the SHOH/NAPM.

Cassie Kubinski, another prestigious Guild member, also received an Abe Olman Scholarship award from the SHOF. Those attending the lunch were treated to a Q&A session with songwriting legend Hal David. In attendance were Linda Lorence, Loretta Munoz, Charlie Feldman, SHOF’s own Bob Leone, and many others including Guild member Ann Ruckert and Guild administrators Rundi Ream and Charlie Sanders.
